American Dream


Pictures, obviously of a set. I don’t remember where I found them but I am incapable of throwing away pictures that are clearly of heirloom age and important to someone, somewhere. Captions are just pretentious speculation.

  1. I bought a number of photos recently for £2 or so here in a London antique shop. They’re quite old, and, like you, I find it inconceivable for them to be discarded. I feel as if by my purchase and care of these photographs, I’m adopting this family, these people, somehow.
